Founded in 1952 in Evanston, Illinois, Allfresh Food Products has built a legacy of excellence in crafting premium soybean shortenings for the baking industry. What started as a small family operation has grown into a trusted name among professional and home bakers across the United States.

Our Process
The Proprietary Chill-Roll Process
At the heart of every Allfresh product is our proprietary Chill-Roll process. This unique crystallization technique produces perfectly tempered shortening flakes from 100% domestic soybean oils. The result is a product with superior workability, consistent performance, and up to 11% more volume than competing products.
Every batch undergoes multi-day tempering before packaging, ensuring that when our shortenings reach your kitchen, they deliver the flaky layers, tender crumb, and consistent results that professional bakers rely on for puff pastry, Danish, croissants, and roll-in applications.
